Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Innovation Roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic insights into actionable business strategies
- Produce quarterly foresight reports on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Advise executive leadership on disruptive market opportunities and competitive positioning
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, Web3, sustainable tech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex futuristic concepts
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFP, Foresight Practitioner)
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight frameworks
- Portfolio of published futurist work or successful innovation initiatives
