Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate, etc.) to identify disruptive opportunities and threats through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for enterprise resilience in volatile markets
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into organizational DNA
- Author white papers and thought leadership on long-term strategic positioning
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory developments impacting industry evolution
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, consulting, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial strategies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-suite audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating previous strategic foresight projects
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
