Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate tech, biotech) to produce 5-10 year strategic foresight reports
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership teams
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish KPIs for emerging technology adoption and market readiness
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynote presentations) positioning Horizon as a future-shaping authority
- Build and manage an external network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors with quantified impact projections
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation initiatives
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation domains
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Experience with emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
