Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap through quantitative forecasting and qualitative trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging disruptions in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven scenario modeling
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, researchers, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex technological concepts into actionable business strategies
- Oversee the development of Horizon Dynamics' annual Future State Report
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and critical thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D
- Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology impact assessment
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech trends: AGI, synthetic biology, and quantum applications
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight from an accredited institution
