Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to map emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop innovation roadmaps aligning with corporate vision and market disruption timelines
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to ideate next-generation products and services
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive stakeholders and boards
- Build and maintain an innovation ecosystem of startups, academics, and industry disruptors
- Monitor and report on competitive innovation landscapes and emerging threats
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Track record of launching innovative products or services at scale
- Certification in innovation frameworks (e.g., Design Thinking, TRIZ, Lean Startup)
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist projects and strategic impact
