Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ market positioning
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps aligned with C-suite vision and shareholder value
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product/service blueprints
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Drive organizational culture shifts toward agile experimentation and adaptive innovation
- Mentor next-generation futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, technology forecasting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services with $50M+ revenue impact
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and market disruption patterns
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience with scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Certified in Futures Thinking methodologies (e.g., CFA, APF)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state implementation
