Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Design speculative scenarios and strategic futures for C-suite decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops on future-proofing business models
- Author trend reports and thought leadership content for industry influence
- Partner with R&D to prototype concepts from future-state scenarios
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic indicators affecting innovation landscapes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech strategy
- Proven expertise in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives in tech or consulting
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures compellingly
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or innovation frameworks
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis, horizon scanning)
