Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging tech domains
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership on 2026 industry disruptions
- Identify and quantify market opportunities in nascent fields (neurotech, fusion energy, etc.)
- Design innovation roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs and global megatrends
- Present future trend analyses to investors, partners, and government bodies
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class foresight research team
- Integrate strategic foresight into product development and corporate strategy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting market shifts with documented accuracy
- Expertise in AI/ML, synthetic biology, or quantum technologies
- Exceptional data visualization and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology forecasting
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., APF, WFS) preferred
