Responsibilities
- Analyze technological, economic, and social megatrends to forecast industry disruptions through 2026
- Develop innovation frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences
- Mentor internal teams on emerging technologies and future-proofing methodologies
- Monitor and evaluate competitive innovation landscapes and patent landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or corporate foresight roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products or services
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or Web3
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published author or frequent keynote speaker on future trends
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven scenario modeling experience
- Entrepreneurial mindset with startup or scale-up experience
