Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and risk mitigation for future disruptions
- Build and manage an innovation pipeline with measurable ROI for emerging technologies
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry summits
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions in our innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and establish global foresight networks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record translating future trends into business strategy with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario modeling, and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech ecosystems and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences and public speaking
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (e.g., Harvard Business Review, WIRED)
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, horizon scanning)
