Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead scenario planning workshops to anticipate market shifts and competitive disruptions
- Partner with R&D teams to identify and prioritize breakthrough innovation opportunities
- Present future trend analyses to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications on future-of-work and technology ethics
- Drive adoption of innovation methodologies across 15+ business units
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching market-defining technologies or products
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented innovation strategies
