Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and assess commercial viability by 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for C-suite clients using scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation roadmaps with business objectives
- Produce executive-grade trend reports with data-backed projections and risk assessments
- Advortise on ethical implications of disruptive technologies for corporate governance
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present findings to investor boards and senior leadership teams
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Published research on AI/quantum/space tech commercialization timelines
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Experience working with Fortune 500 leadership teams
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
