Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present foresight insights to executive leadership and translate complex scenarios into actionable roadmaps
- Build and manage an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Champion emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology) through pilot programs
- Author thought leadership publications and represent Nexus Horizons at global innovation forums
- Drive organizational culture shift toward adaptive innovation and future-readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurism with demonstrable impact on organizational transformation
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of launching successful innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, Web3, biotech, quantum computing) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or innovation leadership projects
