Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year innovation roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and market shifts
- Analyze global trends and patent landscapes to inform strategic R&D investments
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate futurist insights into corporate strategy
- Produce scenario-planning frameworks for technological disruption in key industries
- Mentor junior futurists and establish thought leadership through white papers and keynotes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published author or recognized thought leader in futurist circles
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
