Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, sociology, and economics to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario models for 2026+ technological ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies' market viability and ethical implications
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and futures methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, biotech, climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing executive decision-making
