Responsibilities
- Anticipate global tech trends and market shifts through AI-driven horizon scanning
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps for 2026-2030 product ecosystems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in prototyping next-gen AI/quantum/IoT solutions
- Partner with C-suite to integrate foresight into corporate strategy
- Author thought leadership reports for industry conferences and publications
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding for breakthrough initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or futurism roles
- Published thought leader in AI, biotech, or quantum computing
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in systems thinking and scenario planning frameworks
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Experience scaling innovation labs from concept to revenue
- Deep network in DARPA, MIT Media Lab, or similar innovation hubs
- Fluency in strategic foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
