Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate future insights into product roadmaps
- Present trend analysis and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and industry white papers
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-oriented innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven experience with trend analysis tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-oriented projects
