Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning research to identify and validate emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for long-term business resilience
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future trends into innovation pipelines and product roadmaps
- Deliver executive-level trend briefings and strategic recommendations to the board of directors
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype solutions for anticipated market disruptions
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Quantify future market opportunities through data-driven economic modeling and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (e.g., Harvard Business Review)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling platforms
