Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Horizon Scan' reports identifying 50+ emerging trends across AI, biotech, space exploration, and climate resilience
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives to build adaptive business strategies for 2026+ market conditions
- Design and prototype futuristic concepts using AR/VR tools for client experience visualization
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA, and World Economic Forum's Global Futures Council
- Create predictive models using machine learning to forecast adoption curves of breakthrough technologies
- Author thought leadership pieces published in journals like 'Futures' and 'Nature Human Behaviour'
- Guide product development teams through 'future-back' innovation sprints
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in corporate innovation, consulting, or think tank research
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or innovation frameworks
- Certification from Association of Professional Futurists (APF) required
- Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin for global stakeholder engagement
