Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AI ethics)
- Present strategic foresight insights to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and scenario planning
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer emerging technologies
- Design governance frameworks for responsible innovation and ethical technology deployment
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of systemic thinking across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Strong data visualization skills with tools like Tableau or D3.js
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
