Responsibilities
- Strategic Visioning: Define and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap for the 2026 horizon, identifying key emerging technologies (AI, Quantum, Biotech) with high commercial potential.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor global technology trends, research papers, and competitor moves to anticipate market shifts and maintain a competitive edge.
- R&D Collaboration: Partner with engineering and product teams to prototype and validate high-risk, high-reward technologies.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex future strategies to C-suite executives and investors, translating technical concepts into business value.
- Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic alliances with academic institutions, startups, and technology providers.
- Resource Allocation: Assess the feasibility and cost-benefit of new technologies to optimize R&D investment.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in Technology Strategy, R&D Management, or Strategic Planning within a Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field; Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
- Tech Fluency: Deep understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain, or Quantum Computing concepts.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of successfully identifying and scaling disruptive technologies.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences.
