Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmap integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives spanning hardware, software, and wet labs
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-gen AI systems and autonomous technologies
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Translate complex scientific concepts into actionable business opportunities
- Secure $10M+ in federal and private innovation grants
- Present technological visions to C-suite executives and board members
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in emerging tech strategy at Fortune 500 or unicorn startup
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI development, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of securing federal innovation grants (SBIR/STTR)
- Published research in Nature/Science/IEEE with >100 citations
- Experience leading teams of 15+ engineers and scientists
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Public speaking at major tech conferences (Web Summit, CES)
