Responsibilities
- Architect technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions and competitive advantages
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech) for strategic adoption
- Develop go-to-market strategies for breakthrough technologies with 18-24 month horizons
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and acquire disruptive startups
- Present technology vision to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and mentor a high-performance innovation lab team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services (3+ examples)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech ROI forecasting
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $10M
- Certifications in technology architecture or innovation management preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major industry conferences
