- Present futuristic roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and prototype engineers
- Secure patents and publish thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 2020s innovation impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Published research or patents in future-focused technologies
- Executive experience scaling tech teams from prototype to market
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent experience)
- Track record of securing >$10M in innovation funding
- Proficiency in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
