- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, biotech, decentralized systems) for strategic integration
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen product prototypes and patent portfolios
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify disruptive startups for acquisition
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and executive stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for tech adoption rates and ROI of innovation investments
- Mentor junior strategists in future-gazing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in future-gazing roles
- Proven track record in scaling tech-driven business transformations
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Certifications in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and disruption modeling frameworks
