- Lead patent development for emerging technologies with 18-month commercialization horizons
- Mentor cross-functional teams in rapid prototyping and agile innovation methodologies
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with market disruption opportunities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and key stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations (3+ products)
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent strategic foresight accreditation
- Experience scaling tech teams in high-growth environments
- Strong patent development or IP strategy background
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- MS/MBA from top-tier institution preferred
