Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, blockchain, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify future opportunities and risks
- Create executive-level briefings on technology trends and competitive analysis
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of experimental innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies with proven track record of commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience building technology roadmaps for 5+ year horizons
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and ROI analysis
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, articles, conferences)
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to C-suite audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology adoption projects
