Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology foresight frameworks aligned with market evolution and societal trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, neurotech)
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling business strategies for C-suite stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption success and ROI measurement
- Build strategic partnerships with academic research labs and venture capital firms
- Produce quarterly technology trend reports with actionable recommendations
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an innovation culture across departments
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy at Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, biotech convergence, decentralized systems
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating technology impact on business transformation
