Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps by analyzing emerging trends, patent landscapes, and market disruption vectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify high-impact innovation opportunities in AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable tech
- Produce strategic foresight reports and competitive threat assessments for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to prototype and validate next-generation concepts through agile sprints
- Build and manage a global network of academic, startup, and industry innovation partners
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and investors with compelling data visualizations
- Drive organizational adoption of future-ready technologies through change management frameworks
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning, product innovation, or venture capital with exposure to emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching or scaling disruptive technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning) and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M and cross-continental stakeholder alignment
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Business Innovation, or relevant field preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futures studies (blogs, whitepapers, conferences)
