Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integration, AGI) and assess commercial viability
- Design and launch innovation incubation programs with $50M+ annual budget allocation
- Present strategic recommendations to Board of Directors and investor consortiums
- Build and lead a 15-member cross-disciplinary futurist team
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global tech ecosystems
- Author quarterly industry reports influencing C-suite technology investment decisions
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in C-suite or VP-level roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, international)
- Exceptional financial modeling and scenario planning skills for long-term tech investments
- Published thought leader with keynote experience at global tech summits
- Experience scaling innovation teams from 10 to 50+ members
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE) or equivalent
