- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives for 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption potential
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on technology futures
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for experimental R&D initiatives
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's societal impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership, with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching successful future-focused initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Exceptional communication skills for executive stakeholder management
- Certifications in strategic foresight (e.g., CFM) preferred
- Published author or speaker at global tech conferences
