Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with 5-10 year impact potential
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-driven prioritization
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford R&D labs on experimental projects
- Drive patent strategy for emerging IP domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching products with $100M+ market impact
- Experience securing government innovation grants and venture funding
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals preferred
- Certified in Technology Strategy (CTS) or equivalent
