Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate technical concepts into strategic initiatives
- Establish KPIs and success metrics for future technology adoption and implementation
- Analyze competitive landscapes and technological disruptors across global markets
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech evaluation
- Proven track record in developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic planning (preferred)
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize diverse data sources
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical implications
