Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum computing and AI integration across industries
- Partner with product teams to commercialize breakthrough innovations
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and manage a global network of academic and industry futurists
- Drive ethical frameworks for next-gen autonomous systems
- Secure $10M+ in strategic partnerships for pilot deployments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals
- Experience with federal innovation grant programs (DARPA, NSF)
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Ability to distill complex technical concepts for executive audiences
