Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, AI ethics frameworks)
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Partner with R&D to validate feasibility of forward-looking concepts
- Represent company at global tech forums (CES, Web Summit, Future Tech Expo)
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching tech products with 3+ years ahead of market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or TechCrunch
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and scenario modeling
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation grants or venture funding
- Global network of tech innovators and academic partnerships
