Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology adoption roadmaps for quantum computing and AI integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with commercial viability
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and quantum startups
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Manage $2M annual innovation budget for experimental tech initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or emerging tech R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record in commercializing quantum or AI technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, biotech)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Published research in IEEE or Nature journals on future technologies
- Security clearance eligibility for classified research partnerships
