You'll collaborate with C-suite executives to identify disruptive technologies, evaluate market readiness, and develop implementation frameworks that position Nexus as an industry pioneer. Our ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, synthesizes complex information, and translates futuristic concepts into actionable business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, AGI alignment) for commercial viability
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI/ML deployment and responsible innovation
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify strategic investment opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory impacts on technology adoption and adaptation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of implementing disruptive technologies at scale
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, blockchain, AGI, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Tech Impact Assessment)
- Experience developing ethical AI frameworks and compliance protocols
- Prior experience in venture capital or corporate innovation labs preferred
