Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and blockchain innovations
- Lead R&D initiatives for autonomous systems and human-machine augmentation technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Develop ethical frameworks for responsible AI deployment and digital sovereignty
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for prototype development and scaling
- Drive patent strategy for emerging technology intellectual property portfolios
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, AI, or Quantum Engineering with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or generative AI
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or conference proceedings
- Experience securing federal grants and venture capital for R&D initiatives
- Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and quantum programming languages
