Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy aligned with global market trends
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen AI, quantum computing, and sustainable energy systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors
- Mentor senior engineers and researchers on emerging technology adoption
- Secure and manage $10M+ annual R&D funding through grant proposals
- Monitor ethical implications of emerging technologies and develop responsible innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies (3+ major products)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to forecast tech evolution beyond 2026
- Experience securing government grants and corporate R&D funding
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
