Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging tech solutions (quantum, neuromorphic computing, decentralized AI)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Develop KPI frameworks to measure innovation ROI and technology adoption maturity
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and C-suite with data-backed risk/reward analyses
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Oversee patent portfolios and intellectual property strategy for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in executive leadership roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with specialization in futurism
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, NIST AI RMF) and ethical AI governance
- Exceptional financial modeling skills for tech ROI and venture capital fundraising
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python preferred) and cloud architecture
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., WFS Foresight Practitioner)
