Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and company vision for 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for tech disruption cycles
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board members with data-backed recommendations
- Manage vendor partnerships and M&D opportunities in next-gen tech ecosystems
- Mentor junior strategists and establish thought leadership through industry publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech systems
- Proven track record of launching tech products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Foresight Institute)
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ members in high-growth environments
- Published research or patents in emerging tech domains
