Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing and AI integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen sustainable tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 market potential
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on emerging tech risks/opportunities
- Secure patents for breakthrough innovations in machine learning and biotech convergence
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget with ROI-focused technology investments
- Partner with academic institutions to establish future-focused research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven impact in emerging tech
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, generative AI ethics, or circular economy tech
- Track record of scaling innovations from prototype to commercialization
- Security clearance eligibility (US citizenship required)
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
