Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders
- Drive adoption of future-ready frameworks across product and engineering teams
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting 2026+ landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of commercializing disruptive innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Experience developing patentable intellectual property
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication abilities
- Certifications in futures forecasting or technology strategy preferred
