You'll collaborate with R&D, product, and leadership teams to align technology investments with long-term business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, spatial web) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate disruptive technologies into core business operations
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortiums
- Present technology strategy recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Develop KPI frameworks to measure technology ROI and innovation maturity
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with quarterly ROI assessments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of scaling disruptive technologies to commercial success
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., blockchain, biotech, neuromorphic computing)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with tech focus
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., FTI, APF) or strategy frameworks
- Experience managing global innovation teams across 3+ time zones
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization projects
