Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with 2026 market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Lead technology due diligence and integration assessments for potential acquisitions and partnerships
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives with data-driven impact projections
- Build and maintain relationships with technology innovators, research institutions, and venture capitalists
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies with measurable ROI frameworks
- Author thought leadership content on future technology trends and their business implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting and implementing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in technology impact assessment
- Strong executive communication and presentation abilities
- Certifications in innovation management or technology strategy (e.g., CTO Academy, MIT Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio of successfully implemented technology transformation initiatives
