The Opportunity: As our first dedicated 2026 Strategist, you'll directly influence $500M+ in R&D investments and shape how 500M+ users interact with next-gen technology. This hybrid role blends cutting-edge research with high-stakes strategic execution.
Responsibilities
- Architect comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework using predictive analytics and trend synthesis
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Labs' to prototype and validate breakthrough technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces)
- Develop patented innovation methodologies for exponential technology adoption curves
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board with ROI projections and risk mitigation
- Manage $2M annual innovation sandbox budget for experimental technology incubation
- Pioneer industry-first standards for ethical deployment of autonomous systems
- Author quarterly 'FutureTech Briefs' distributed to 10K+ industry stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Strategic Innovation (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 3+ years in exponential tech forecasting
- Portfolio demonstrating successful commercialization of futuristic technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning for black swan events and technology discontinuities
- Published thought leadership in Nature/IEEE/MIT Technology Review
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into executable business strategy
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (ACF or equivalent)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/R preferred)
