Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum computing, neurotech interfaces, and climate-responsive AI systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with transformative potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on innovation priorities
- Produce strategic briefings for executive stakeholders on technology adoption pathways
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation impact and ROI for future technologies
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and startups in cutting-edge research domains
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within high-growth tech sectors
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, biotech, AGI, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Experience developing innovation frameworks for long-term technology adoption
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
