Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026 technology innovation roadmap spanning AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives, securing $5M+ annual budgets for emerging tech exploration
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies through market analysis, patent research, and academic partnerships
- Present technology strategy to C-suite and board, translating technical concepts into business impact
- Build and manage ecosystem of tech startups, research institutions, and industry consortiums
- Develop ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring alignment with UN Sustainable Goals
- Mentor innovation teams on future-proofing methodologies and exponential technology trends
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching technology initiatives with $10M+ budgets and global impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains with published thought leadership
- Experience securing venture capital and government grants for R&D projects
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology preferred
- Strong network with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and tech innovators
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, R, or similar) for data analysis
