Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, bio-integration)
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technology adoption across 5 business units
- Partner with C-suite to align future tech initiatives with corporate vision
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-driven decision framework
- Present foresight findings to investors and board members quarterly
- Build and lead a cross-functional team of futurists and technologists
- Publish annual 'Future Tech Outlook' whitepaper industry-wide
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least 3 future-tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation skills with 50+ keynote presentations
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Published author or patent holder in emerging technologies
- Experience managing distributed innovation teams across 3+ continents
- Certification in futures research or technology foresight (e.g., APF, CFTe)
