Responsibilities
- Architect strategic technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, integrating quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and security teams
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, quantum-resistant cryptography)
- Develop future-proof governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and digital sovereignty
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused prioritization
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify disruptive startup acquisitions
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record leading large-scale digital transformation projects
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI governance
- Executive-level presentation skills with board experience
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature Futures, or similar journals
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology adoption lifecycle models
- Security clearance preferred for classified sector partnerships
